Happy Easter

Hello,

I want to wish you all a Happy Easter this Sunday! I hope you spend the day doing whatever makes you happy-worship, searching for eggs, munching on a chocolate bunny-or all of the above.

I love vintage Easter items. They remind me of Easter morning (which was only topped by Christmas morning) and the 3 of us girls running down the hall to find our baskets. They were stuffed with giant chocolate bunnies, jelly beans, marshmallow eggs, and small treasures hidden in the green plastic grass (toys when we were little and lip gloss when we got older).

Here's a few pics of vintage Easter items to take you back to your own Easter morning.

Take care,

Happy Easter

Hello,
Since the Antique World Mall is closed on Easter Sunday-so all of the great staff there can enjoy Easter with their families-I thought I'd post a few pics of fun Easter displays for you to enjoy as you munch on chocolate eggs and maybe a mimosa!
"Fresh Eggs .25 cents"-The good old days!

Two cute little chicks!

Weathered watering cans sit in an aged wire basket. The eggs are about to hatch!

Porcelain bunnies perch on top of a pretty garden table.

This Easter basket looks like the kind we got as kids-stuffed with plastic grass, chocolate bunnies, and jelly beans. Mom would always hide a "special" treat at the bottom. A small doll when we were little, and as we grew older, a tube of lip gloss or bright blue eyeshadow.

These are all soooo adorable! I want to buy them all.

Every little girl should have a new pretty dress to wear on Easter. Pick one of these!

This basket is filled with delicate doilies.

Happy Easter!
