Easy Easter Cones

Hello,

Every Thursday night, a group of my fun gal pals get together for "Girl's Night". We go to dinner and a movie/shopping or make dinner in and do crafts. The only exception to the "no boys allowed" is our adorable 9-month-old grandson! It's fun to have a dedicated night to look forward to.

On a recent gals night, we made cute and easy Easter paper cones out of scrap book paper.

First, we picked out the pretty paper we wanted to use. We put a large plate halfway over the side of the paper on one of the edges (or points) and traced the plate. This should make a cone shaped form for you to cut out. Next, roll the cone up to your desired shape and glue gun the edges together. Then embellish with trim, glitter letters, buttons, etc. We also punched two holes in each side towards the top for ribbon to hang them.

My favorite cones in the following pics are the sailboat with the scrabble letter for grandbaby "Scilas" and the pink cone I made for my BF with the crystal hanger. We filled them with pink and green grass and candy.

Have fun!

Di
